Racism has become a hot topic in the teaching curriculum. Without appropriate actions to raise the awareness of anti-racism, it can harm the children's learning environment with negative impacts such as bullying, and more (NEWMAN, 2019).
How can the teachers work together to prevent racism in the preschool environment?
OBJECTIVES

Promote friendly learning environment for the students

Decrease racism among peers and foster a good image in front of the parents

Showcase a good role model to the students, and further develop the sense of justice

All contributions from the policy makers, institutions, preschool professionals such as teachers and staffs, must receive adequate training to be aware of the racism and discrimination topic. Implicit bias - Unconscious bias and beliefs should be eliminated from the preschool surroundings. To prevent the phenomenon of implicit bias, fair discipline rules and reflective teaching can be done by the preschool teachers (Staats, 2016).
If the racism has not stopped...
The insufficient of learning resources and the underfunding learning environment straightly affect the children's learning experience and academic achievements. In the past, The black students who can only attend the poorly-funded institution or schools had inadequate learning opportunities, compared with the white students who are able to attend higher standard of institution. This causes an achievement gap between the black and white, which shows the hardcore differences among the racial lines (NEWMAN, 2019).
Aside from victims, the bullies can go about with one's nose in the air. When there is no one standing out to point out the improper behaviors, the bullies can take the pride and continue to discriminate anyone who has different skin color, without getting a sense of doing wrongly (Alvin N. Alvarez, 2016).
Teachers need to be educated too!

Through self-talk video, the speaker could deliver the important messages and the common challenges faced by senior educators so that teachers are able to gain the related knowledge and experience

Empathy
Empathy is important to feel each another, everyone need to be loved. Without empathy, people will not feel the deep feelings from one another. Thus, be an empathy person, try to understand one's feeling and their hard times.

Anti-bias
Living in diverse cultural environment, it is important to reduce bias and stereotypes.
