Talking about racism is only the beginning. Taking action is the most powerful force for change. Create chances and tactics to help people go from awareness to action and influence. You and your children can advocate for equity in their school, society, and school district outside of the classroom. Speak up and let your voice be heard. Supporting more voices and leadership from people of colour should be a priority. Also, take the initiative by providing bold and specific solutions that encapsulate the ideals and vision of equity and inclusion for all (Model Your Values and Vision, 2015).
